Samsung's upcoming wide-format Galaxy Z Fold8, the successor to the Galaxy Z Fold7, has received certification for sale in India from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).

The model number for this device is SM-F971B. While the certification does not disclose specific specifications, earlier reports suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold8 will feature a 7.6-inch inner display with a 4:3 aspect ratio, a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 4,800 mAh battery capable of 45W wired charging. It is expected to weigh approximately 200g.
Additionally, the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 has also received BIS certification, with the model number SM-L715F. This wearable is anticipated to include an 800 mAh battery and 5G connectivity, powered by Qualcomm's new Snapdragon Wear Elite SoC.

Both devices are expected to be officially announced at Samsung's upcoming Unpacked launch event, rumoured to occur in London on July 22.
