Huawei Unveils MatePad Pro 12 (2026) in Global Launch Event

In an exciting event held in Munich, Huawei showcased its newest wearables alongside the global introduction of the nova16s series smartphones. Among the highlighted products was the MatePad Pro 12 (2026), which made its international debut after being announced in China last month. This cutting-edge tablet is set to impress users with its exceptional features and design.

The MatePad Pro 12 boasts a stunning 12-inch OLED display with a resolution of 3,036 × 1,952 pixels, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,600 nits. For those who prefer a different experience, Huawei is also offering a PaperMatte Display version which features an anti-glare coating. Additionally, users can enhance their productivity with the optional M-Pencil Pro stylus and Glide Keyboard cover.

Measuring just 4.7 mm thick and weighing 454 grams, the MatePad Pro 12 (2026) is designed for portability and ease of use. Under the hood, it is powered by the Kirin T93 chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB or 512GB. The tablet runs on Huawei's own HarmonyOS 4.3, ensuring a smooth user experience.

Battery performance varies by region; the EU version is equipped with a 9,760 mAh battery, while other markets will receive a 10,400 mAh variant. Regardless of the battery size, all versions support 66W wired charging for quick power-ups.
