Xiaomi has officially introduced the Redmi 17 5G in the Indian market, bringing an upgraded battery compared to its global version. While the design and specifications remain largely unchanged, this notable enhancement is likely to appeal to users seeking longer battery life.
The Indian version of the Redmi 17 5G is equipped with a powerful 7,900mAh battery, surpassing the 7,500mAh battery found in the global variant. This device also supports 45W wired charging for efficient power replenishment.
In terms of performance, the Redmi 17 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset, offering strong performance alongside options of up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. For those in need of additional storage, a microSD card slot is available.
The device features a 6.9-inch LCD display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and an HD+ resolution, complemented by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 7i for added durability.
