There have been discussions about OnePlus preparing to launch a new entry-level smartphone series in India, known as the "OnePlus N" series. This series aims to compete in the under-₹20,000 price segment against popular brands such as Redmi, Realme, and Poco. Both OnePlus India and Amazon India are currently teasing this new series.
OnePlus posted a teaser image on X, confirming the series name and indicating that it is "coming soon" as an Amazon Specials launch. While the actual phone is rumored to be called the "OnePlus N6," the image does not officially confirm this name.

Some may wonder about the existing Nord series that OnePlus also sells in India, which includes models like the Nord 6, Nord CE6, and Nord CE6 Lite. The Nord CE6 Lite, being the most affordable of the trio, starts at ₹23,000 for its base 6/128GB configuration. In contrast, the N6 is expected to be priced under ₹20,000.
Additionally, the Nord CE6 and Nord CE6 Lite were launched as Amazon Specials too, indicating that the N-series will continue this partnership.
The N-series is anticipated to launch next month, though there is no official confirmation yet. While we shouldn't speculate too much, it’s worth noting that Prime Day was held on July 15, 2015. Although no official date for this year's Prime Day in India has been announced, a recent press release hints at July 15.
