Recently, a leak revealed renders of Samsung's forthcoming smart glasses, initially leading us to speculate that they would be named Galaxy Glasses. Samsung has now largely confirmed this with an update to its Nearby Device Scanning app.
This app, part of Samsung's One UI on Galaxy phones and tablets, allows for quick connections to nearby devices, including the anticipated Galaxy Glasses. The latest changelog mentions support for "Glasses quick pair" and a "battery pop up" feature specifically for these glasses, as shown in the first screenshot below.

Samsung Nearby Device scanning app updateWith this update, it is all but confirmed that Samsung's smart glasses will indeed be called Galaxy Glasses. Although the term 'Galaxy' is absent from the changelog, it's standard for Samsung to include it in naming their mobile products. It’s likely that the omission was simply a mistake.
The changelog also indicates that users will be able to view the battery level of their Galaxy Glasses on their Samsung phones or tablets, similar to the current capabilities with the Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Watches.
The Galaxy Glasses are expected to debut at Samsung's summer Unpacked event, likely scheduled for July. Rumored specifications include a 12MP camera, a 155 mAh battery, no display, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 chipset, with support for both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
