In addition to the recent announcements surrounding the Honor 600 series, the brand has unveiled its latest tablet, the MagicPad3 Pro 12.3”, during an event in China earlier today. This device is a more compact alternative to the previously released MagicPad3 Pro 13.3, featuring various differences in specifications.

Replacing the LCD panel of the MagicPad3 Pro 13.3”, the new model incorporates a 12.3” OLED display with a resolution of 3,000x1,920 pixels. The refresh rate is adaptive, varying from 60Hz to 165Hz, and the aspect ratio stands at 15.6:10. The display offers an impressive peak local brightness of 3,000 nits and supports stylus input through the optional Magic Pencil 3.

In terms of performance, the device features a chipset update, with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 taking the place of the SD 8 Gen 5 Elite. The MagicPad3 Pro 12.3” is available with configurations of up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, although all models currently support only Wi-Fi connectivity. Constructed with an aluminum chassis, the tablet is 4.8mm thick and weighs 450 grams. The device includes a 13MP camera on the rear and a 9MP camera on the front.

The software is based on MagicOS 10, built upon Android 16, and Honor introduces a dedicated PC mode that presents a desktop-like environment with windowed applications. Additionally, the tablet is powered by a robust 10,100mAh battery that supports 66W wired charging and reverse wired charging up to 27W.

The Honor MagicPad3 Pro 12.3” will be available in two color options: Starry Gray and Moonlit White. Pricing in China begins at CNY 3,999 (approximately $586/€501) for the base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, rising to CNY 5,199 (about $762/€652) for the enhanced 12GB RAM and 512GB storage version. The first shipments are expected to commence on April 28.
