Network Enhancements for Optimal Experience
To accommodate the anticipated demand, Verizon has implemented extensive network upgrades, including the addition of more 5G spectrum at key stadiums. This enhancement is expected to increase network capacity by three to five times. Furthermore, the deployment of nearly 140 additional small cells, in conjunction with temporary cell sites around the venues, is designed to bolster both coverage and overall mobile network capacity.

With high-capacity fiber infrastructure in place, Verizon is ready to support the massive influx of streaming, photo sharing, and calls from thousands of fans as they enjoy the tournament. These preparations highlight the company's commitment to providing a seamless connectivity experience during one of the most-watched sporting events globally.
