Introduction

Honor has officially expanded its Win2 series in China, and the biggest attention is on the Honor Win RT2 and Honor Win Turbo2. Both new models are built around a huge 12,070mAh battery, making them some of the most endurance-focused smartphones in the company’s current lineup.

The Honor Win RT2 is positioned as the more advanced of the two. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and is paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Honor has also included its own display and communication chips to enhance performance and connectivity.

One of the most unusual features of the Win RT2 is its built-in active cooling fan, which is housed inside the rear camera island. Honor says the fan can reduce device temperatures by up to 6 degrees Celsius during demanding tasks. Users can also choose from four different fan speed settings.

On the front, the smartphone sports a 6.89-inch AMOLED screen with 2K resolution, a 185Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 10,000 nits.

For photography, the Win RT2 features a 200MP primary camera with CIPA 6.0 stabilization, along with a 12MP ultrawide camera. Selfies and video calls are handled by a 50MP front-facing camera.

The massive 12,070mAh battery supports 90W wired charging and 27W wired reverse charging. The device ships with MagicOS 11 based on Android 17.

The Honor Win Turbo2 shares the same display size, resolution, refresh rate, brightness level, and battery capacity, but it uses the slightly less powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.

Unlike the Win RT2, the Turbo2 does not include an active cooling fan. It also replaces the 200MP main shooter with a 50MP Sony main camera, while keeping the 12MP ultrawide lens and 50MP front camera.

Both phones come with an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint scanner, IP69K protection, 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and GPS.

The Honor Win RT2 and Win Turbo2 are currently available for purchase in China and are offered in three color options.

The Win RT2 starts at CNY 4,199 ($625) for the 12GB/256GB model, while the top 16GB/512GB variant costs CNY 5,199 ($775).

Meanwhile, the Win Turbo2 begins at CNY 3,199 ($480) for the 8GB/256GB version, with the 16GB/512GB model priced at CNY 4,499 ($670).
