This week marks a special event in the gaming world as Apple launches Indie Games Week on its App Store, showcasing innovative titles from independent developers. The App Store will feature daily highlights of exceptional indie games and curated collections, introducing seven new and acclaimed titles for iPhone and iPad users, either available for download or up for pre-order.
Leading the lineup is Sifu, a dynamic third-person kung fu brawler developed by Sloclap and Kepler Interactive. This mobile adaptation comes with custom touch controls, an improved camera system, and full support for controllers. Another standout is Vampire Crawlers, a gothic-themed card battler from Poncle and Nosebleed Interactive. This title offers a unique twist on the popular Vampire Survivors game by focusing on strategic deck building rather than dodging bullets.
Among the most anticipated releases is No Man's Sky, which is scheduled for release on October 28. Developed by Hello Games, this mobile version includes all major expansions, including the latest Cosmos update that allows players to manage their own space station.
The remaining titles in this exciting lineup include Little Kitty, Big City, the kingdom-building adventure 9 Kings, the alien mining simulator Dome Keeper, and Yes, Your Grace 2: Snowfall. These four games are available for immediate download.
Carson Oliver, Apple's head of App Store Worldwide, expresses that indie games continuously push creative boundaries and that the company is eager to celebrate the teams bold enough to take artistic risks. Apple emphasizes the significant platform the App Store provides to help these developers transform their creative visions into globally celebrated successes.
