Rumored Production Start Date for Standard iPhone 18 Revealed

Apple has recently launched the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, but there are hints that the standard iPhone 18 might be just around the corner. A tipster on Weibo has shared insights about the anticipated production timeline for the more basic model, suggesting exciting developments ahead.

Reports indicate that production of the iPhone 18 is set to kick off at the end of November. The informant also mentioned that Apple appears to be gearing up for a substantial stock, potentially signaling a significant rollout.

Interestingly, the same source recently claimed that anticipated iPhone 18 stock might actually be reduced, as Apple shifts its attention toward the iPhone 18 Pro Max and its foldable counterpart. This presents a slight contradiction, given that a "large" stock could vary in significance depending on its comparison baseline.

Nonetheless, a production start date at the end of November aligns well with a potential launch in spring, with the tipster predicting the iPhone 18 will debut in March alongside the iPhone 18e. According to previous leaks, the upcoming model may sport a 6.3-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, be powered by the new A20 chipset, and feature 9GB of RAM. However, Apple has yet to confirm any of these specifications.
