The interactive tribute lets visitors explore a digital recreation of the first-generation iPod, complete with the iconic scroll wheel and a selection of 90-second sample songs from the era.
By heading to music.apple.com/us/ipod, users can experience a playful homage to one of Apple’s most influential devices. The original iPod was announced on October 23, 2001, and launched on November 10, 2001. It debuted in 5GB and 10GB versions and connected to Mac computers using a 6-pin FireWire 400 connector.
