Xiaomi 17T Series Launches in China: The Battery Boost You Need

Following their global launch last month, the Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro have officially arrived in the Chinese market, featuring a significant upgrade for the standard 17T. It now boasts a 7,000mAh Si/C battery, matching that of the Pro model, representing a 500mAh increase compared to the global version. The charging speed remains capped at 67W.

Apart from the enhanced battery in the 17T, which now offers an additional 16GB RAM option on the 17T Pro, the Chinese variants retain the same core specifications as their international counterparts.

The Xiaomi 17T features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display (FHD+120Hz) powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chip, along with 12GB of RAM and storage options of up to 512GB. Its camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP periscope lens with 5x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide lens.

The 17T Pro is equipped with a 6.83-inch AMOLED display (FHD+ 144Hz) and is powered by a Dimensity 9500 SoC, offering configurations of up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. This model also features a larger main camera sensor (1/1.31") and supports up to 8K video recording.

In China, the Xiaomi 17T is priced starting at CNY 2,999 ($443/€385) for the 12GB/256GB version, while the 12GB/512GB variant is available for CNY 3,499 ($517/€450). The 17T Pro starts at CNY 3,999 ($591/€513) for the 12GB/256GB model, with the top-tier 16GB/512GB version priced at CNY 4,799 ($709/€616).
