Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra: Expectations for Battery Capacity and Features

Source: Date:

Samsung is anticipated to unveil the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra alongside the Galaxy Tab S12+ later this year, likely in September, mirroring the timeline of its predecessor's release in 2025.

According to a recent report, the upcoming device will feature the same battery capacity as the Tab S11 Ultra, with Samsung opting to maintain a maximum capacity of 11,600 mAh. This implies that the Tab S12 Ultra will also support a maximum wired charging capacity of 45W, identical to that of the S11 Ultra.

In contrast, the Galaxy Tab S12+ is expected to come equipped with a larger battery than its predecessor, the Tab S10+, as Samsung has been alternating the release of a standard Galaxy S tablet and a Plus model each year, with no Tab S11+ introduced.

Sources also indicate that both the Tab S12 Ultra and Tab S12+ will maintain the same screen sizes as their predecessors, at 14.6 inches and 12.4 inches, respectively. Both tablets are likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC, and they will feature a 12MP front camera. Additionally, they are expected to launch with Android 17, complete with Samsung's One UI 9 on top.
