In recent weeks at GSMArena HQ, the pace has been hectic with a surge of new phone arrivals, and today we’re excited to unveil the globally launched vivo X300 FE!
Launched alongside the vivo X300 Ultra, the vivo X300 FE is available in two configurations: 12GB of RAM with either 256GB or 512GB of storage. Pricing details are still pending.
The device comes equipped with a color-matching case, a 90W charger, and a USB-A to USB-C cable.
As the compact flagship of the series, its smaller stature is evident when placed next to the 6.82-inch vivo X300 Ultra. The FE model is visually more appealing, featuring a discreet camera bar instead of the larger, more dominating circular camera island.
Comparing the vivo X300 Ultra and vivo X300 FE
In hand, the 6.31-inch vivo X300 FE feels surprisingly robust and solid for its size. At just over 8mm thick and weighing around 190 grams, it offers a slim profile without feeling overly small. Its flat sides and rectangular edges contribute to the perception of holding a larger device.
This impression might also stem from its impressive 6,500mAh battery, which adds a beefy feel to its compact design.
While the X300 FE doesn't quite reach the premium status of the X300 Ultra, it aligns more closely with the vivo X300. Both smartphones share a similar 6.31-inch display and feature triple rear cameras; however, the X300 sports a slightly superior 200MP main camera on paper. In contrast, the X300 FE excels with its more advanced 6,500mAh battery.
The current vivo lineup is indeed promising, with competitive offerings throughout the X300 series. We eagerly await the final pricing details for the X300 FE in Europe!
