Nearly a year after the debut of its gaming-focused GT 30 Pro, Infinix has unveiled its successor: the GT 50 Pro. This new model features a refined design, enhanced cooling capabilities, and a larger battery capacity.

Staying true to its gaming phone lineage, the GT 50 Pro boasts a dynamic RGB light array on its rear. It incorporates the innovative HydroFlow liquid cooling system, which covers a generous 6,437mm² area, ensuring optimal thermal management during intense gaming sessions.

At its core, the GT 50 Pro is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400, featuring an all-big core CPU architecture alongside a faster GPU and improved NPU performance.

The processor is paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. Additionally, Infinix has included its custom N1 network management chip, promising 60% stronger signal performance.

The device also features Infinix’s new dual-pressure shoulder triggers, which support up to 8 mapping points and 10 levels of adjustable pressure sensitivity. Beyond gaming, these triggers can be utilized for quick app launches and zoom control within the camera app.

The GT 50 Pro is equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display offering a resolution of 1,208 x 2,644 pixels and a variable refresh rate ranging from 30Hz to 144Hz. The display shines with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits and is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i.

On the rear, there is a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide lens. Additionally, a 13MP front-facing camera is integrated into a punch-hole cutout on the display.

In terms of battery, the GT 50 Pro houses either a 6,500mAh or 6,150mAh unit, depending on the region. Regardless of the capacity, it supports 45W wired charging, 30W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wired charging. Moreover, if you opt for Infinix’s new MagCharge Cooler 2.0, you can enable wireless bypass charging, which delivers power directly to the motherboard.

The software side of things is managed by XOS 16, based on Android 16, with Infinix promising five years of software support.

The Infinix GT 50 Pro will be available in Black Abyss, Red Blaze, and Silver Glacier color options. In Indonesia, pricing starts at IDR 6,499,000 ($376/€330 converted) for the 12/256GB variant and reaches IDR 7,499,000 ($434/€370 converted) for the 12/512GB model. Open sales in Indonesia will commence tomorrow.
