The family shot above highlights that the iPhone Ultra does not support MagSafe, a notable omission. It remains unclear if it features wireless charging without MagSafe or lacks this functionality entirely. Surprisingly, the iPhone Ultra is equipped with only two cameras, which is unexpected for a phone rumored to be the priciest iPhone ever.

In the above image, we compare the iPhone 17 Pro Max dummy unit on the left with the iPhone 18 Pro Max on the right. Although the design appears unchanged, the camera island of the iPhone 18 Pro Max is noticeably thicker. The total thickness of the iPhone 18 Pro Max, including the camera plateau, measures 11.54mm, an increase from the predecessor's 11.23mm, and reaches 13.77mm when accounting for the cameras, compared to the iPhone 17 Pro Max’s 12.92mm.

Next, we examine the iPhone Ultra in its unfolded form alongside the iPhone 17 Pro Max. The width of the Ultra's screen is comparable to the length of the Pro Max, with the Ultra reportedly standing 111.5mm tall.

Finally, the unfolded iPhone Ultra is displayed beside an iPad mini. Although the iPhone’s screen will be smaller, thinner bezels suggest the difference in size won't be substantial.

The iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Ultra are anticipated to be unveiled together at Apple’s annual event in September. In contrast, the iPhone 18, iPhone 18e, and iPhone Air 2 are expected to launch in the spring of next year.
