Excitement is building in the tech community as the highly anticipated Poco F9 Pro and Poco F9 Ultra are set to make their debut. Recent leaks have revealed detailed specifications, images, and potential pricing for both devices, hinting at significant upgrades and features that promise to cater to smartphone enthusiasts and gamers alike.
According to the latest information, the Poco F9 Pro will come as a rebranded Redmi K100 Pro with a slightly smaller battery, while the Poco F9 Ultra mirrors the Redmi K100 Pro Max but also sports a reduced battery capacity. The leaked data provides specific insight into the battery sizes, revealing that the F9 Pro will have a 6,330 mAh battery, while the F9 Ultra will boast an impressive 8,050 mAh battery, in comparison to their Redmi counterparts which feature larger cells.

The Poco F9 Pro is equipped with a 6.59-inch 1156x2510 AMOLED display, offering a smooth 185Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, along with options for 12GB and 16GB of RAM and 256GB and 512GB of storage. Camera capabilities include a striking 200MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), paired with a 50MP telephoto lens (2.5x optical zoom), an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 32MP front-facing camera.

On the other hand, the Poco F9 Ultra features a larger 6.9-inch 1200x2608 AMOLED display, maintaining the same refresh rate and peak brightness as the Pro version. It shares the same powerful chipset and RAM/storage configurations, as well as the same 200MP main camera. However, it steps up the game with a 50MP periscope telephoto lens capable of 5x optical zoom and a 50MP ultra-wide camera.
Both devices are reinforced with Gorilla Glass 7i, metal frames, and a fiberglass-reinforced plastic back. They come with Bose speakers, and the Ultra model even includes a convenient LED ring for notifications. Notably, both phones are expected to be IP69 certified, ensuring dust and water resistance, and will feature rapid 100W charging capabilities.
