Apple's iPhone Ultra to Launch in Limited Markets Due to Production Challenges
In a surprising turn of events, reports from Australia indicate that Apple's highly anticipated foldable device, the iPhone Ultra, will not see a global release alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max at the upcoming launch event on September 8. Instead, the iPhone Ultra is set to debut solely in the United States, with a limited rollout to select markets such as China, while countries like Australia will be left empty-handed at launch.
Interestingly, the report suggests that Apple will refrain from discussing pricing for the iPhone Ultra during the event, merely unveiling the device itself. It is anticipated that the foldable phone will carry a premium price tag, potentially up to AUD 700 more than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8, which currently sells for AUD 2,999 (approximately $2,118).
