The highly anticipated Google Pixel Watch 5 is set to debut on August 20, just days after the announcement of the Pixel 11 series. As the launch date approaches, numerous leaks have surfaced, revealing key details about the upcoming smartwatch, including an exciting Stephen Curry edition, a collaboration that reflects Google's ongoing partnership with the NBA star.
With most of the specifications and design features already exposed by insiders, the focus has now shifted to the exclusive Stephen Curry edition. This iteration of the Pixel Watch 5 features a unique woven loop band in stone gray and taupe, accented with vibrant orange, mirroring the design elements seen in the recently launched Stephen Curry Fitbit Air.
The leaked promotional materials showcase the 45mm version of the Pixel Watch 5, which includes the Stephen Curry-branded band adorned with the #LockIn label. Designed for active lifestyles, the band is also water-repellent, making it suitable for workouts and everyday wear.
Although this special edition may not boast significant enhancements over the standard model, Google is ensuring it remains affordable. The Stephen Curry edition is expected to retail at $669 or €579, which is only a slight increase of $35 or €30 compared to the regular Pixel Watch 5.
It is worth noting that the Stephen Curry edition will be available only while supplies last, and its availability may vary by region.
