T-Mobile recently announced the phase-out of several older plans, transitioning customers to newer, often more expensive options. Moreover, the carrier has decided to discontinue its KickBack program.
Numerous reports on Reddit confirm that T-Mobile has begun notifying customers about the impending retirement of the KickBack program, which will officially end on July 13, 2026. This development adds to the concerns of affected customers, as the KickBack program provided $10 credits per line for customers who utilized 2GB of data or less within a billing cycle.
These credits were applied to each line on a plan, offering users significant savings. Some users reported monthly savings of $70 to $90. With these changes, it remains uncertain how many customers T-Mobile will lose to competitors.
