Today, in China, Redmi officially launched the K90 Ultra, concluding months of leaks, rumors, and speculation surrounding the device. The K90 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and features a built-in active cooling fan that can reduce temperatures by up to 10°C, preventing throttling during extended gaming sessions. It also includes a standalone D2 interpolation chip for enhanced gaming performance.
Equipped with a 6.83-inch flat AMOLED display boasting a resolution of 1280x2772, a refresh rate of 165Hz, and a peak brightness of 3,500 nits, the phone provides excellent visibility even in bright conditions. Its camera setup includes a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) using a 1/1.55" sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 20MP front-facing camera.

The device is powered by an impressive 8,550mAh battery that supports 100W wired and 22.5W reverse wired charging, complete with a 100W GaN charger included in the box. Users can enjoy high-quality audio through its dual symmetrical stereo speakers, tuned by Bose. Additionally, the phone is rated for water and dust resistance with IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications. It operates on HyperOS 3 based on Android 16.
The K90 Ultra comes in three striking colors: Space Silver, Shadow Black, and Sky Blue. The starting price is CNY 2,999 ($441) for the model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, currently available with a promotional offer that upgrades RAM to 16GB for the same price. The 12GB/512GB model is priced at CNY 3,499 ($515), while the top-end 16GB/512GB version is available for CNY 3,699 ($544).
