A recent rumor from Digital Chat Station on Weibo has revealed details about Apple's anticipated iPhone lineup for early 2027. Following the expected launch of the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Ultra this September, Apple may introduce the iPhone 18, iPhone 18e, and iPhone Air 2 in April 2027.
According to the leak, the iPhone 18 will feature a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED display with a "1.5K" resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. In contrast, the iPhone 18e will possess a 6.12-inch LTPS OLED screen with a "1.5K" resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. The iPhone Air 2 is expected to sport a 6.55-inch LTPO OLED panel, also with a "1.5K" resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
iPhone 17eWhen compared to its predecessor, the iPhone 17e, the iPhone 18e's display is 0.02 inches larger, while the iPhone Air 2's screen is 0.05 inches bigger than the original iPhone Air. Notably, the size of the iPhone 18 remains unchanged from that of the iPhone 17. The refresh rates for all models will remain consistent with the previous generation; thus, those hoping for the iPhone 18e to feature a 120Hz refresh rate may be disappointed.
