Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Benchmark Results: Key Specs and Features Unveiled

The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is set to make its debut later this fall, and recent benchmark tests on Geekbench provide insights into what users can expect from this device. With its impressive performance powered by the Exynos 2500 chipset, the Galaxy S26 FE aims to deliver a premium experience at a competitive price point.

Performance Metrics from Geekbench Testing

The Korean variant of the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE, identified by the model number SM-S741N, showcased noteworthy scores on Geekbench, achieving 2255 in the single-core segment and 7450 in multi-core performance. Meanwhile, the US model, SM-S741U, slightly outperformed with scores of 2426 and 8004 for single-core and multi-core, respectively.

Exynos 2500: Driving Force Behind the Galaxy S26 FE

As anticipated, the Galaxy S26 FE will be fueled by the Exynos 2500 application processor (AP), crafted by Samsung Foundry using a cutting-edge 3nm process node and GAA (Gate-All-Around) architecture. This innovative design minimizes current leakage while enhancing transistor speed, making it a robust choice for modern smartphones.

The Exynos 2500 AP features a deca-core (10 CPU cores) tri-cluster configuration:

  • 1 Prime Core: ARM Cortex-X925/Cortex-X5 clocked at 3.30 GHz.
  • 2 Performance Cores: ARM Cortex-A725 at 2.74 GHz.
  • 5 Mid Cores: ARM Cortex-A725 operating at 2.36 GHz.
  • 2 Efficiency Cores: ARM Cortex-A520 with a 1.80 GHz clock speed.

The processor will be complemented by 8GB of RAM, contrasting with the Galaxy S26 flagship series which includes the more powerful Exynos 2600 AP or Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (in select regions) and offers configurations up to 16GB of RAM.

Stylish Design and Enhanced Features

The Galaxy S26 FE will arrive with Android 17 and Samsung's One UI 9.0 layered on top. An image of the device has already circulated online, revealing design elements inspired by the flagship Galaxy S26 series. A notable adjustment in the design includes a rear camera module, positioned slightly more towards the upper left corner, reminiscent of a "Traffic Light" arrangement with its triple-camera setup.

Storage options will range from 128GB to 512GB, and the device will be powered by a substantial 4900mAh to 5000mAh battery, supporting 45W fast charging. It will also feature Qi2 version 2.2.1 for wireless charging compatibility, allowing operation speeds up to 25W with improved magnetic alignment for optimal efficiency.

Display and Pricing Information

The Galaxy S26 FE is equipped with a stunning 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, boasting a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,900 nits. The expected pricing for the entry-level variant is estimated to fall between $649.99 and $699.
