The affordable iPhone 17e, initially rumored to launch in Spring, is now expected to debut later this month, according to recent reports. The device is anticipated to feature three significant upgrades.

Macwelt, citing industry sources, predicts that Apple will unveil the iPhone 17e via a press release on February 19. This timing aligns with last year's announcement of the iPhone 16e, which also occurred in February.

The report indicates that the new iPhone will include MagSafe support, allowing for wireless charging speeds of up to 25W. Additionally, it is expected to maintain the notch design first introduced with the iPhone 16e.

Further details from Mac Otakara, referencing reliable sources, suggest that the iPhone 17e will retain a similar design to its predecessor. The new model will reportedly not feature the Dynamic Island, which had been speculated in earlier rumors.

The iPhone 17e is set to be powered by the A19 chipset and will include the second-generation Apple C1X modem along with the N1 wireless network chip. Other specifications are likely to be comparable to those of the iPhone 16e.
