Weekly Deals: Score Big on OnePlus 13, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and More

While the saying goes that "newer is better," today we’re focusing on the classic appeal of older models.

Amazon has unearthed some leftover OnePlus 13 units, specifically the 12/256GB variant, now available for $700. Coincidentally, this is the same price as the new OnePlus 15R, which includes a $100 gift card or store credit.

The OnePlus 13 boasts a superior display (1440p+ LTPO compared to 1272p+ LTPS) and enhanced camera capabilities—featuring a triple 50MP setup including a 3x/73mm periscope—unlike the 15R, which lacks a telephoto lens. Additionally, the OnePlus 13's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset outperforms the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5.

The only clear advantage of the OnePlus 15R is its battery life; its 7,400mAh battery demonstrated an impressive 21:36h Active Use Score in our tests, compared to 15:28h for the older model. However, the OnePlus 13 outperforms in charging speed with 80W wired and 50W wireless support compared to the 15R's 80W wired only.

Next is the OnePlus 15, the new flagship model, which significantly surpasses its predecessor in battery life (23:07h vs. 15:28h) while maintaining similar charging capabilities. It also features the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Regardless of which OnePlus model you choose, the OnePlus Buds 4 make a great addition. Although their audio quality isn't the highest, they deliver exceptional active noise cancellation.

For a similar price as the OnePlus 15, you might also consider the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL. Although its Tensor G5 processor doesn’t compare against the mentioned Snapdragon chips, the Pixel’s camera system is competitive, featuring a robust 50MP main sensor, a 48MP 5x periscope lens, and a 48MP ultra-wide camera. Additionally, the selfie camera is a 42MP ultra-wide unit.

The smaller Google Pixel 10 Pro shares the same camera system but has a slightly smaller screen (6.3” vs. 6.8”) and battery (4,870mAh vs. 5,200mAh). Despite these differences, the battery life was nearly identical in our tests (12:06h vs. 12:29h).

A key enhancement in the 10-series is the introduction of magnetic Qi2 charging. If you're using a case, the official Google Pixelsnap case is an excellent option, crafted from soft silicone and equipped with magnets for stronger attachment.

For budget-conscious consumers, the Google Pixel 9a presents a more affordable alternative. Keep in mind that Google has announced the reveal date for the 10a as February 18. Leaked specifications suggest that the 10a will offer only a mild upgrade, but confirmation is just two weeks away. Therefore, it might be prudent to postpone your purchase of the Pixel 9a.

The Nothing Ear (a) buds are currently available with a generous 46% discount. They effectively balance price and features, providing ANC, a 5.5-hour continuous playtime with ANC activated, and Bluetooth 5.3 with LDAC.
