iQOO recently held the third edition of Prive Night in India, inviting YouTubers, influencers, and tech journalists to preview the iQOO 15R, which is set to launch on February 24. We attended this exclusive event and got an early look at the device.
The iQOO 15R marks the first 'R' model in iQOO's smartphone lineup in India, targeting young professionals who seek a compact device equipped with a powerful chipset and a substantial battery. More details on this remarkable smartphone are below.

Available in two colors, the iQOO 15R comes in Black and a checkered-design Silver. The Black model is named Dark Knight, while the Silver variant is referred to as Triumph Silver.
The Dark Knight model has a greyish hue in certain lighting and offers a sophisticated look for formal occasions. In contrast, the Triumph Silver version caters to those preferring a more casual aesthetic. Its checkered design is visually striking but can be more pronounced depending on light reflections.

The camera configuration of the iQOO 15R resembles that of the iQOO 15, featuring a two-camera setup. The primary camera sports a 50MP Sony LYT-700 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). Additionally, the front hosts a punch-hole display; however, the size has yet to be disclosed by iQOO.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC and a robust 7,600mAh battery, the iQOO 15R offers 100W charging capabilities, including support for bypass charging.

We appreciate the overall design of the iQOO 15R, which is more comfortable for one-handed use compared to the larger iQOO 15. The build quality is commendable, and our favorite color is the Triumph Silver.
While iQOO has not yet fully detailed the specifications of the 15R, the brand has announced that the smartphone will come equipped with the Q2 Supercomputing Chip, a 6.5K IceCore VC Cooling System, and support for 144 FPS gaming in BGMI through frame interpolation technology.

The iQOO 15R will run on OriginOS 6 and is promised to receive OS updates for four years, alongside six years of security updates. The base model is expected to be priced under INR 50,000.
