In anticipation of its launch next week, RedMagic has revealed additional details about its upcoming gaming-focused tablet. The RedMagic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro is set to be unveiled in China on June 30, featuring advanced liquid cooling technology.

The standout feature of the Gaming Tablet 5 Pro is its integrated PC emulator, enabling users to run AAA PC games directly out of the box.

A video shared by RedMagic on Weibo showcased the emulator in operation. The company has developed a proprietary translation layer within its Game Space app, allowing x86 applications to run seamlessly on the tablet.

According to RedMagic, the emulator supports gameplay at resolutions up to 2K with a 144Hz refresh rate.

Users can import their game libraries from Steam or install games via EXE files. The video also demonstrates the tablet being used alongside a RedMagic controller.

In addition to the emulator, RedMagic disclosed more key specifications for the Gaming Tablet 5 Pro.

It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and boast a 9.06-inch OLED display with a 2.4K resolution, an impressive 185Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 1,600 nits.

The RedMagic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro will also feature an 8,500mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging and dual USB Type-C ports.

RedMagic is anticipated to launch the tablet globally as the RedMagic Astra 2.
