The smartphone industry has just taken a bold leap forward with the launch of the nubia NaviX Ultra. This innovative device not only boasts high-end specifications but also integrates cutting-edge AI technology that enhances user experience significantly. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, the NaviX Ultra aims to redefine what users can expect from their mobile devices.
The device runs a remarkable AI called Doubao, which is designed for deep reasoning, self-correction, and extended-context adherence. Doubao can break down complex tasks, adapt to unexpected challenges, and generalize knowledge across various applications, making it exceptionally versatile.
The nubia NaviX Ultra features a unique fingerprint-equipped button that serves as the AI key. Tapping it opens a prompt window, while a long press activates voice command mode. Double tapping initiates a video call with the AI, allowing you to utilize the cameras to visually convey your needs. Being a multi-modal AI, Doubao interacts with text, images, audio, and video seamlessly.
Currently in beta, a continuous dialogue mode enables back-and-forth conversations with Doubao for tackling more intricate tasks. A handy widget lets users track the progress of long-running tasks while allowing intelligent prioritization of multiple assignments.
The AI extends its capabilities to third-party applications and can access various online services. It integrates functionality with platforms like Lark, a feature-rich team collaboration suite, and CaoCao Mobility, a Chinese Robo-taxi service. Beyond managing incoming calls and transcribing voice notes, it can also identify products directly from your screen.
Shifting focus to hardware, the nubia NaviX Ultra is driven by the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, with configurations available in 12GB/512GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB (LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage). It runs on Android 16, highly customized with Nebula AIOS 2 overlay.
