Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Z Flip8 received certification from the FCC earlier this month. Recent analysis by Android Authority has unveiled that the device will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
The accompanying image highlights the SoC's model number, SM8850, confirming that the Galaxy Z Flip8 will indeed utilize Qualcomm's latest technology in the US market.
Previous reports indicate that only Korea and Europe will receive the device equipped with the Exynos 2600 SoC, while the Snapdragon variant will be offered worldwide.
Rumors suggest that the Flip8 will feature a crease-free display and a redesigned hinge. It is expected to be available in Cream, Graphite, Mint, and Pink colors, with storage options of 256GB and 512GB.
