Recently, there has been some controversy regarding the release timeline of the iPhone Ultra. Initial reports suggested delays, but these claims were promptly refuted by other sources.
Today, we have received confirmation that the iPhone Ultra is set to be unveiled in September, alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Allegedly, the issues related to the hinge have been resolved, and mass production of the iPhone Ultra is set to begin in late July. This information stems from a report in Korean media, reportedly from officials within Apple's supply chain in both Korea and Taiwan.

According to the same sources, Apple has finalized key specifications for the iPhone Ultra, which include the display, casing, and mechanical components. The device is now entering the preparation phase for mass production, with Foxconn assigned to produce the initial batch. Trial production took place in April.
While it remains uncertain whether the iPhone Ultra will launch simultaneously with the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, it appears increasingly likely that it will be announced during the same event in September.
