Redmi has officially launched the R70 and R70m smartphones in China. While these models share many features, their main distinction lies in battery capacity.
The R70 is equipped with a 6.9-inch LCD display, offering a resolution of 720x1600, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of 800 nits. It is powered by the Unisoc T8300 SoC, complemented by LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The camera setup includes a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera, along with a robust 6,000 mAh battery that supports 15W wired charging and 7.5W reverse charging.

In contrast, the R70m features a slightly smaller 6,300 mAh battery, although it maintains the same charging capabilities as its counterpart. Aside from this difference, all other specifications are identical to the R70. The Redmi R70 is available in four RAM/storage configurations: 4/128GB, 6/128GB, 6/256GB, and 8/256GB, with a starting price of CNY 1,599 (approximately $234).
The R70m is offered in similar RAM/storage variations: 6/128GB, 6/256GB, 8/256GB, and 12/256GB, starting at CNY 1,799 (around $263). Both models are available in black, white, blue, and purple. However, it remains uncertain whether these devices will be made available in markets outside of China.
