This enhancement aims to provide users with quick access to crucial information such as weather updates, calendar events, and reminders via their Galaxy devices, now seamlessly incorporating insights from various SmartThings-enabled devices into everyday life.
With this new update, users will receive timely updates from SmartThings-compatible home security cameras and additional features from Samsung’s Pet Care and Family Care services. Notably, owners of 2024 and newer Samsung smart TVs will have the ability to view critical information related to home security, family health, and pet activity through interactive cards that appear when they approach their television.
Furthermore, Samsung's Family Care feature is being elevated with enhanced notifications for both family members and pets, now delivering vital reminders for medical appointments and medication schedules to caregivers. The Care on Call function will present essential details such as daily activity levels and local weather conditions in a convenient pop-up during calls with family members within the Samsung Family Care network.
In addition, Samsung’s Safety Patrol functionality, which harnesses the camera capabilities of SmartThings-compatible robotic vacuums, can now detect falls and potential emergencies in the home. These capable vacuums can also provide visual feedback and utilize their microphones for facilitating communication with individuals in need of assistance.
