In early January, the Samsung Galaxy M17e was spotted on the Google Play Console's list of supported devices, raising curiosity. Now, Samsung has officially confirmed its existence.
Scheduled to launch in India on March 17, the Galaxy M17e will be available for purchase on Amazon. This smartphone features a 6.7-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, complemented by a robust 6,000 mAh battery.

It will operate on One UI 8.0 based on Android 16 from its launch and is set to receive six major Android updates along with six years of security updates. The camera setup includes a 50MP rear camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP front-facing camera. All of these specifications have been officially verified by Amazon's promotional microsite and align closely with the features of the Galaxy A07, suggesting that the M17e is closely related to this model.

The M17e boasts an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance and will be offered in two colors: Blitz Blue and Vibe Violet. It is marketed as the smoothest smartphone under INR 14,000, positioning its price around INR 13,999.
