Poco has officially launched the Poco M8x, the latest addition to its acclaimed M8 series, setting a new standard with impressive features and specifications.
The standout feature of the Poco M8x is its integration of the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 SoC, making it the first smartphone in India to utilize this advanced chip. Users can choose from configurations featuring up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which is expandable via a microSD card.
In terms of software, the M8x operates on Android 16-based HyperOS 3. Poco has committed to providing users with four years of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates, ensuring longevity and security.
The smartphone showcases a large 6.9-inch HD+ 120Hz LCD display, which is safeguarded by Gorilla Glass 7i. It features a centered punch-hole design for the 8MP selfie camera. On the rear, you'll find a robust 50MP primary camera, along with an auxiliary unit and an LED flash for enhanced photography capabilities.
Powering the Poco M8x is a massive 7,900 mAh battery, which supports 45W wired charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging, ensuring extended usage without frequent recharging.
Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, dual stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Poco M8x is available in three color options: Leather Green, Black, and Blue, with the Leather Green variant featuring a stylish vegan leather finish. Customers can select from two memory configurations - 4GB/128GB priced at INR 20,999 and 6GB/128GB at INR 22,999.
Availability: The Poco M8x will be available for purchase in India starting from August 27 exclusively via Flipkart.
