Honor has just launched its much-anticipated Robot Phone, a device that stands out for its innovative integrated gimbal camera. While it promises impressive photography capabilities, its unique features come at a cost—especially when it comes to repairs. If you're considering this high-tech gadget, it's essential to know the potential expenses associated with damage.

Should you accidentally drop your Robot Phone while using the gimbal camera, be prepared to spend CNY 3,079 (approximately $457) for a replacement. This price reflects the complexity and number of moving parts contained within the gimbal assembly. Honor's official repair pricing list also states that replacing the telephoto camera will cost CNY 879 ($130), while the ultrawide camera replacement is significantly cheaper at CNY 199 ($29).

Other notable repair costs include replacing the screen for CNY 1,379 ($205) and the battery for CNY 319 ($47). However, the most significant repair cost is the motherboard; if you own the 12/512GB version, it will set you back CNY 4,599 ($684), while the 16GB/1TB variant costs a staggering CNY 6,599 ($981).

While these repair prices might seem steep, it's worth noting that the Robot Phone itself starts at CNY 9,999 ($1,487) for the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model, and goes up to CNY 12,999 ($1,933) for the 16GB RAM and 1TB storage option.
