Mike Katz Bids Farewell to T-Mobile

On May 1, Mike Katz, T-Mobile's Chief Business and Product Officer, sold nearly $1 million worth of T-Mobile shares. Today, Katz shared a heartfelt farewell through a LinkedIn post, acknowledging his journey that began with a part-time position at VoiceStream at retail locations like Best Buy and Circuit City. Katz expressed gratitude to past T-Mobile CEOs, including the well-known John Legere and Mike Sievert.

Katz is leaving to pursue new professional interests but will stay until the end of the year in a strategic advisory role, continuing to influence the company until 2026.

Chris Sambar Appointed as Chief Enterprise Officer

As Katz prepares to exit, T-Mobile is set to bring in Chris Sambar as its new Chief Enterprise Officer, starting on October 14, 2026. Sambar will oversee T-Mobile's Small and Medium Business (SMB), enterprise, and government operations, including the T-Mobile Advertising Solutions (T-Ads) unit, which specializes in targeted advertisements across various platforms.
