Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone Air 2 alongside the iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e in early 2027. Recent rumors suggest that the new handset will not only feature a dual rear camera setup and improved battery life but also a notable increase in battery capacity.
A recent leak indicates that the iPhone Air 2 may come equipped with a battery boasting a capacity of 3,500mAh or more. While this capacity may not seem enormous by today’s standards, it marks an upgrade from the 3,149mAh battery found in the original iPhone Air.

Additionally, the iPhone Air 2 is rumored to feature a 6.55-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is expected to be powered by Apple’s forthcoming 2nm A20 Pro chipset.
The device is anticipated to sport a dual rear camera system, which includes a 48MP primary sensor and an ultrawide camera.
