Introducing the Nothing Phone (4a) with Innovative Glyph Bar Features

Nothing is set to launch its Phone (4a) series on March 5, and the teaser campaign is in full effect. After numerous rumors and leaked specifications, we now have a first look at one of the two devices—the Nothing Phone (4a).

As anticipated, the Phone (4a) retains the signature semi-transparent design that characterizes all previous devices from the Nothing brand. This upcoming model will showcase an even more exposed lower back section with a dual-tone aesthetic and will be available in at least four color options: white (see below), black, blue, and pink.

A significant update for the Phone (4a) is the introduction of the Glyph Bar, which replaces the Glyph Interface on earlier models. The Glyph Bar features six square LEDs located next to the camera island, with each square containing nine individually controllable mini-LEDs. These lights will once again be programmable and are confirmed to be brighter than the LEDs used in previous Nothing phones.

We also see the new device's button layout, which indicates that Nothing has relocated its Essential key to the left-hand side, creating a clearer distinction from the power and volume keys, which remain on the right.

According to earlier leaks, the Phone (4a) will sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED display (FHD+ 120Hz), equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Additionally, it will feature a 5,400mAh battery with 50W wired charging, along with a trio of rear cameras: a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide lens.
