Samsung has recently teased the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra's low-light photography features. Today, the company's U.S. division released a short video showcasing the phone's low-light video recording capabilities.
However, an intriguing detail emerged: the teaser video was "generated with the assistance of AI tools," as noted in the company's disclaimer at the bottom.
This raises questions—if the goal is to highlight the Galaxy S26 Ultra's performance, why not share a video captured in actual low-light conditions using the device? In the video, viewers are asked, "Can your phone do that?" But given the AI assistance, it seems the S26 Ultra might not be able to do just that, creating a sense of confusion.
Although Samsung disclosed the use of AI, which is commendable, it may have inadvertently detracted from the promotional effort. We're left hoping that the actual low-light video performance of the S26 Ultra will surpass what this AI-generated tease suggests.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra, along with the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+, will be officially unveiled on February 25. Recently, a complete spec sheet for all three devices was leaked, revealing European pricing details.
