The fifth One UI 8.5 beta has just been released, featuring February's Android security patch and an enhanced version of Bixby, now referred to as a conversational device agent. In an official press release, Samsung outlined the new capabilities of Bixby, anticipated to debut alongside the Galaxy S26 series on February 25.

According to Samsung, the revamped Bixby allows users to manage device settings using natural language. For instance, a user could request that their screen not turn off while they are looking at it; Bixby will seamlessly activate the "Keep screen on while viewing" feature.
Additionally, the updated Bixby supports real-time web search, enabling the assistant to provide the latest results for user queries directly within its interface.

If you are using the latest One UI 8.5 Beta 5, you can experience the new Bixby features. This update is currently available in select regions, including Germany, India, Korea, Poland, the UK, and the US, with a wider rollout expected in the near future.
