A new Poco smartphone, the C81 Pro, is set to launch soon, as revealed by its recent certification for sale in Thailand from the NBTC. Sporting the model number 25128PC17G, the certification indicates that it will not support 5G connectivity. Being a part of Poco's entry-level C-series, it is anticipated to be a budget-friendly device.
Prior to this, in January, the device was certified in Indonesia under the name Poco C81. Since then, it appears to have adopted the Pro suffix but remains the same device. It is also expected to launch in specific markets as the Redmi A7 Pro.
Should these specifications hold true, the Poco C81 Pro is likely to feature a 6.9-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the Unisoc T7250 chipset. The device is expected to come with 4GB of RAM, options for 64GB or 128GB of storage, a 50MP rear camera, a 13MP front-facing camera, and a robust 6,000 mAh battery with 15W wired charging support. Disappointingly, it may come with Android 15 at launch, despite Android 16 being available since June.
