In terms of performance, the SU7 is designed for long journeys. Buyers can select from three battery capacities: 73 kWh, 96.3 kWh, and 101.7 kWh. Depending on wheel and motor options, the driving range varies between 630 km and 902 km, allowing for extensive driving before needing a charge.
The base model starts at RMB 229,900 (approximately €28,000), while the top-tier Max variant is priced at RMB 309,900 (around €37,800). This positions Xiaomi competitively in the high-tech automotive market, aiming to provide drivers with premium features at an accessible price point.
Xiaomi rejoices in achieving a significant milestone, having delivered over 600,000 vehicles. The company reached this target in just 22 months since its car sales launch in April 2024. While the sedan is gaining traction, it is the YU7 SUV that drives a substantial portion of sales. In January 2026, Xiaomi sold over 39,000 vehicles, with the YU7 accounting for nearly 97% of those sales, establishing itself as the best-selling model in the country.
Last year proved to be a record-setting year for Xiaomi, with over 410,000 vehicles sold in 2025, exceeding initial projections. December 2025 registered the company's highest monthly sales yet, with over 50,000 cars delivered. Company CEO Lei Jun aims to sell 550,000 cars in 2026, representing a 34% increase from the previous year's remarkable figures.
