Spotify has been quite active in recent days. Following the official launch of Page Match, the platform is now introducing 'About the Song,' described as "a new way to explore the stories behind music."
This innovative feature presents short, swipeable story cards in the Now Playing view that delve into the meanings behind the songs you are listening to. According to the official press release, these stories are summarized from third-party sources, highlighting fascinating details and behind-the-scenes moments.
To access this feature, simply open the Now Playing view and scroll down to locate the 'About the Song' card, which appears for supported tracks. Currently, 'About the Song' is in beta and is being rolled out on iOS and Android for Spotify Premium users in the US, UK, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia.
