The affordable iPhone 17e, initially rumored to launch in the spring, is now expected to debut later this month, according to a recent report. This release will reportedly bring three significant upgrades to the device.

As per Macwelt, which cites industry sources, the iPhone 17e is scheduled for unveiling via a press release on February 19. This timing is consistent with Apple’s previous announcements, as the iPhone 16e was also revealed in February last year.

According to the report, the forthcoming iPhone will support MagSafe, allowing for wireless charging speeds of up to 25W while retaining the notch design featured in the iPhone 16e.

In a separate report by Mac Otakara, it is claimed that the iPhone 17e's design will closely resemble that of its predecessor. This report further states that the new model will not include a Dynamic Island, contradicting earlier speculations.

Additionally, it is expected that the iPhone 17e will be powered by the A19 chipset and will feature the second-generation Apple C1X modem and the N1 wireless network chip. Other specifications are likely to match those of the iPhone 16e.
