Last week, CEO Carl Pei highlighted the upcoming Nothing Phone (4a) series, describing it as a “complete evolution”. However, he did not provide specific details, including a launch date. Recently, leakster Yogesh Brar has offered more insights into the matter.
According to Brar, the Nothing Phone (4a) and (4a) Pro are set to be launched globally in early March, with March 5 being the most likely date.
Brar also mentioned enhanced storage options, which have already been confirmed by Nothing. The (4a) models will feature UFS 3.1 storage, an upgrade from the UFS 2.2 used in the (3a) models. This upgrade, while beneficial, may lead to a price increase, as it is not the latest UFS format.

Leaks indicate that both models will be powered by Snapdragon 7-series chipsets, although the exact chipsets have yet to be disclosed. Pei has also promised improvements to the display and camera systems, in addition to overall performance, though details on these upgrades remain scarce.
The new models will feature a slight increase in battery capacity. Information from the EU database reveals that the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro will sport a 5,080mAh battery rated for 1,400 charge cycles. For comparison, the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro has a 5,000mAh battery, also rated for 1,400 cycles. The charging rate will remain unchanged at 50W.
Notable upgrade: IP65 rating for the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro
According to EPREL data, the new Pro model will come with an upgraded IP65 rating, compared to the IP64 rating of its predecessor.
Pei noted that Nothing will not launch a flagship model this year, placing significant expectations on the Phone (4a) series.
