Apple's highly anticipated iPhone Fold is set to launch later this year, with rumors suggesting a significant departure from traditional iPhone designs. According to recent reports from China, the device will boast the largest battery ever installed in an Apple smartphone.
Initially rumored to have a capacity ranging from 5,400 mAh to 5,800 mAh, it seems the final figure is likely to be 5,500 mAh. If accurate, this will surpass the battery capacity of the current leader, the eSIM-only iPhone 17 Pro Max, by nearly 10%.

Given the efficiency of iOS in comparison to Android, the iPhone Fold’s 5,500 mAh battery may allow it to outperform its rivals significantly in terms of battery life.
Expectations for the iPhone Fold also include a 7.8-inch inner display, a 5.5-inch cover screen, dual rear 48MP cameras, dual 18MP front-facing cameras, the A20 Pro chipset, and 12GB of RAM.
