Xiaomi launched the Pad 8 Pro in China last September, and for those eager to see a global release, we have promising news.
The international version of the tablet has been identified in the Geekbench database under the model number 25091RP04G, with the "G" indicating this model is intended for markets beyond China.

In the provided screenshot, the tablet achieved a single-core score of 2,940 and a multi-core score of 8,759 in Geekbench 6.5. Like the Chinese version, it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The prototype that underwent benchmarking featured 8GB of RAM, which is the base configuration in China, with options going up to 16GB.
While it remains uncertain if the international Pad 8 Pro will be completely identical to its Chinese counterpart, expectations are for it to include an 11.2" IPS LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 800-nit peak brightness. Additional features may consist of up to 512GB of storage, a 50MP rear camera, a 32MP front camera, and a 9,200 mAh battery with 67W wired charging support. It will operate on Android 16 with HyperOS 3 layered on top.
The most likely introduction platform for the device will be at the same event showcasing the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, which is expected to take place in Barcelona, Spain, a day or two prior to the Mobile World Congress starting on March 2.
