In an exciting development for smartphone enthusiasts, Samsung Display has reportedly commenced mass production of the AMOLED panels intended for the much-anticipated Galaxy S27 series. This follows recent news regarding the production of the Exynos 2700 chipset, marking a significant step in the lead-up to the series’ launch.
As previously speculated, the Galaxy S27 lineup will feature four distinct models: the 6.27-inch Galaxy S27, the 6.66-inch Galaxy S27+, the 6.47-inch Galaxy S27 Pro, and the 6.89-inch Galaxy S27 Ultra.

With the introduction of the Pro model, Samsung Display aims to increase panel production by approximately 10% compared to the previous Galaxy S26 series, setting an annual shipment goal between 47 and 48 million units. For context, the target for the Galaxy S26 lineup was in the low 40 million range.
The company is said to be planning for the shipment of 2 to 3 million panels for the Galaxy S27 Pro this year, with a more ambitious 4 to 5 million units slated for next year. This strategy indicates that while the devices will not debut until early 2027, all necessary displays are expected to be ready for assembly in time for the launch.
Moreover, it has been 'confirmed' once more that both the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra will include the Privacy Display feature originally introduced with the Galaxy S26 Ultra, adding to the anticipation surrounding these new models.
