A recent report from Korea suggests that the Genesis GV90 will be officially unveiled on September 9, as disclosed by a high-ranking official from Hyundai Motor Group who preferred to remain anonymous.
While this date has not been confirmed, the company aims for a September 9 launch, though adjustments may occur. However, it is likely that any changes will lead to a date close to the projected one.

Genesis has reportedly produced over 250 units of the GV90, which are currently housed at its Ulsan plant. These vehicles are full production versions, and quality checks are in progress alongside efforts to stabilize production. Full-scale mass production is slated to begin in September.
The GV90 is anticipated to be the first model utilizing Hyundai Motor Group's innovative eM platform, which will succeed the E-GMP and aims to enhance driving efficiency. Industry experts speculate that at least one battery option for the GV90 will exceed 100 kWh.

The design of the GV90 is expected to feature elements from the Neolun concept, which was revealed in 2024. The starting price in Korea is projected to be around KRW 100 million (approximately $65,215), with top models retailing for about KRW 200 million ($130,431).
Hyundai is reportedly contemplating whether to hold a completion ceremony for the dedicated plant in Ulsan in conjunction with the GV90's launch, as both events are scheduled internally for September. This plant is designed with an annual production capacity of 200,000 units, and construction began in 2023.
