Ultrahuman Unveils M2 Live: A Revolutionary Platform for Continuous Glucose Monitoring

Source: Date:

Ultrahuman, renowned for its innovative smart rings, is expanding its product line with the launch of the Ultrahuman M2 Live, a platform designed for continuous glucose monitoring.

The M2 Live utilizes the Lingo Glucose Biosensor developed by Abbott. This device is available for purchase without a prescription and can also connect with Abbott's Libre 3 Plus sensor. It streams data to your smartphone via Bluetooth LE, though NFC is required for initial activation.

Continuous Glucose Monitoring • Metabolic Score

While the Ultrahuman M2 Live is a one-time purchase, the sensors must be replaced approximately every 14 days and are not reusable. Note that Abbott has its own app compatible with this sensor.

So, what capabilities does the Ultrahuman M2 Live offer? It provides access to the M2 Live app, which tracks your glucose levels and calculates a proprietary Metabolic Score. This score is a clinically validated indicator of insulin sensitivity and glucose metabolism, as outlined in a scientific report published in Nature.

M2 Live is integrated into Ultrahuman's platform, allowing it to merge data from smart ring sensors. This advanced functionality enables Jade AI Biointelligence to identify correlations between glucose patterns and factors such as sleep, heart rate variability (HRV), activity level, recovery, and skin temperature.

Food Score • Fueling Score

The M2 Live is primarily targeted at individuals dealing with metabolic disorders, including Type 2 diabetes, obesity, PCOS/PMOS, and hypertension. Additionally, it can assist users in weight loss by promoting better portion control.

The system tracks daily food intake and its impact on glucose levels. As it learns how your body responds to various foods, it assigns a score to each meal ranging from 1 to 10. Furthermore, a community of Ultrahuman users shares their experiences and insights, aided by an AI metabolic coach.
